Yes, Mestinon is the first line drug for both occular and generalized MG. I have generalized MG, but the mestinon does help my double vision and droopy eyelids. But, I know some people who don't see a lot of improvement in their occular symptoms from just mestinon and so they have to take something else, like prednisone. Hopefully the mestinon helps you!
