My symptoms were very similar to yours in the beginning, and my bloodwork, like yours, is also negative, which is not uncommon.
It seems like your Neuro is proactive, and electrical testing is next on your agenda at achieving a diagnosis, and ultimate treatment. The electrical testing is not fun, but it is necessary, and you will come through it just fine.
The differential diagnoses for MG are not good, so your Neuro will want to rule out other possible diseases.
MG is an autoimmune disease, and autoimmune diseases love company. Many/most of us have multiple autoimmune diseases. I also have Celiac's disease, and had pretty bad "visceral" discomfort, bloating and inflammation in my belly area, and the inflammation finally spread to my knees and back. I eliminated the wheat, and all was well.
A lot of us also have sleep apnea ; I use a CPAP due to apnea that I never had pre-MG. Like you stated, our neck muscles can get pretty weak.
I predict you will have answers soon, will begin a treatment regimen, and will be feeling better. Keep us posted, and try to rest as much as possible.
Take Care! Chris.
My blood work and all tests were negative, except for SFEMG which resulted in "mild abnormalities"
I am blessed to only have had one neuro from the beginning who treated me with a clinical diagnosis. I responded to mestinon well at first.
Be your own advocate through all of this testing. It's a learning time for you. We are here to answer questions for you. Make sure you have a good neuro, one who will listen to you. It might be a good idea to keep a daily journal of your symptoms, etc.
Good luck and keep in touch.
