Having been in a similar situation from time to time I was given something not natural but a fairly safe medication taken as dispensed and it was Valium or Zanax .
The only natural anti anxiety med I know of Jackie is exercise when I can and being outside in the fresh air and sunshine getting my vitamin D.
Good luck , make the trip :)

I use Xanax, ONLY as needed with meditation and it is pretty good most of the time. Personally, I would never take anxiety medication on a daily basis because they are controlled substances AND highly addictive. Your body becomes quickly dependent on these types of medications, hence the seizure activity. So perhaps you can look into a book on meditation to help you handle the stress and anxiety and wean off of the medication gradually while doing so.
Sorry that I can't be of more help. I hope it (or something else) works for you. HUGS!

Good question. After having a tough last few weeks, I was also wondering if there was anything natural to help. I've heard that 5-HTP can help with relaxing and some people will take it before bed too, to help with rest. Think the problem is we don't want to feel less weak, just less anxiety. I was planning to talk to neuro at next appt but figure only suggestion will be another Rx.....no thank you.
Good luck,
Elle
