I am allergic to animals.
My son has a dog and when I go to his house I am sick when I get home for days after.
I am also allergic to gluten .
When I take dairy, gluten, and artificial sweetners as well as corn and eggs out of my diet I do best.
Mg gets worse when we get sick.
Don't underestimate the bad power some foods can have over us as well as allergens in the air and on animals.
I would highly recommend a diet of fresh fruits, veggies, and protein (such as chicken)
to help you through this tough time.

It is important that you stay well hydrated and make sure while awake you are getting at least 10 deep breaths an hour followed by some coughing to keep airways open and clear. You can break the deep breaths into say 3-4 per 15 minutes. Put your hands on your lower sides of your lungs and feel them both go outward when you take in a slow deep breath to make sure you are breathing deeply. If you have a spirometer, the type you get when in the hospital it is a good measure that you are taking deep breaths.
If you have an inhaler be sure you use a spacer to get better deposition of medication in your lungs. Again you want a slow deep inhalation pausing after the deep breath to let medicine go deep. Then wait a full minute before taking another with meds. Rinse after taking any medication this way.
You have a triple whammy so it will be important to get your rest as much as possible, take your medication diligently, pay attention to hydration and breathing plus clearing airways. Good luck with this and hope you are feeling better soon....Marie

I love hot drinks, but cannot have too much at once because they make me tired just like hot showers. I make a cup that I sip slowly through the morning hours. I love TEA!
