I did great my first day, but with very disturbed sleep (hospital noise) I had the worst headache the next day. After I got home and got some rest, the headache went away , do we don't think it was IVIG related. The next time I was in the hospital I made sure my husband was with me and I took extra strength ear plugs and a sleeping mask. It really did help.
Take snacks, ensures, fruit and nuts so you can eat when you get hungry.
I also especially try to eat clean before my infushion; no cheating on those days.
I've had three ivigs now and wished I had asked about them sooner.

Try to relax, I remember the first time I was almost as afraid of IVIG as I was of MG. I thought it was just for worst case. I now look forward to my liquid gold.
