Much as I like Andy and Stewart, Sting is amazing on his own and brings his sensibilities to his songs, the ones he sang with The Police too, though his solo efforts stand alone as outstanding. He is a favorite

Based on the two songs you picked, I'd have to go with The Police. Although when I was a kid, for some reason that video of Sting running around in a maze of candles always creeped me out. I can't explain why because I'm not sure, probably because even at an early age I knew it wasn't safe to run and jump around among a bunch of lit candles waving a scarf around!
Alrighty, given the holiday season, how about we get festive up in this joint?! A battle of the classics!
