I once walked into a workplace kitchen where my friend was making a cup of tea. Another colleague walked into and said "mmm rissoles! Someone has something yummy for lunch". There were no rissoles of course - it was my friend's blast on the brown bugle just moments before she walked in! So perhaps blaming food can work sometimes?
I just hope no one ever says 'ooo, that must be that person from DS!!!'
I try to walk away if I feel it coming on so that people don't think that it is me in the grocery store. I used to avoid it when I stopped drinking milk, but now Tecfedera is really giving the gas. Thanks for the topic. Dogs are a good one. But as I understand it, a lot of people have gas and just ignore it and don't say anything either.
Lemonman, you are hilarious. I notice that sitting down in a group of people it is easier to hold it in, but when I get up, Holly Mackeral!!
Not only smelly but loud and musical as well. Will continue to take them as seem to help my other bodily functions.
Perhaps we are looking at this all wrong. Maybe we should be letting people enjoy our outstanding musical talents!
I got all of this info from natural remedies
It will stop most gas & what you are left with is almost odorless
it can be fresh or dried I find the dried hard to get down
please note pregnant woman should not take parsley it causes uterine contractions
also note for nursing women it will not hurt you or the child but it will increase milk production
let me know if anyone whats to slow down milk production
if you want to use dried parley I found a good way to get it down was to make mint tea & add 1 tsp of dried parsley steep for at least 5 min's 10 is best
I found fresh parsley better.
what I did to keep prices down
in the spring I went to a place that sells plants for gardeners I bought about 4 parley planted them in a good clay pot they are easy to grow.
once growing I would make dips for veggies or what ever
it works great
(even on my Hubby ((wink, wink)) )
talking about something giving your gas I took alfalfa tablets and I could not believe the way it reacted to me
of course I wish dating my husband at the time and it was the first dinner I had at his place and during dinner the alfalfa kicked in now I am talking machine-gun quality it ended up we laugh so hard that it just made it worse and I was a continual machine-gun so I was embarrassed but we stayed together and got married and we still laugh over the alfalfa some time now when he wants to be funny because of MS already have the reaction to meds that give me gas and he asked me if I would like alfalfa
I have found over the years it is good to keep our sense of humor because if we don't we would only end up crying
of course during lunch when I work I used to keep rice cakes on handy to crunch in case I couldn't keep it in blame it on extra crunchy rice cakes or some other cracker or Melba toast
of course my friends got to know me and we would blame it on bad food in the refrigerator I think we all have these stories and expect to laugh at
I read the post to my husband and he got a really good laugh from it and he loves lemon men humor
thanks for the post
hugs to all
