what do i have??

ok they found a small area of lesion/inflammation on my thoracic spine, but i passed every other test with flying colours..still having problems with my bladder that hasn't stopped and now have a burning feeling in my right foot...but i have sciatica problems so not sure if thats what causing it...

having another mri in august to look at this lesion..dr says at this point in time he can not say i have ms because i need to have two attacks...attacks of what i say??? I've had these bladder problems since march...

sorry had to vent seeing neuro again on friday...want answers..either i have it or i don't...how long did it take people to get a definite ms diagnosis?

It took me close to 5 years to be dx. Individual systems were treated until 1 Dr. put it all together. Since I am not a Dr., I can't say what u have. Many illnesses mimic MS. Just keep doing what ur doing until a dx is terminated. ((HUGS)) to ur spirit up.

Getting a diagnosis is time consuming. I had different issues occur noticeably far apart from each other. First the bladder, and then the legs started giving out. Drop foot kicked in before the legs being so obvious though. My left toe would drag instead of pick up while I walked and one time I three myself across the parking lot when getting out of my car to just run into the store real quick.

Then when you get a diagnosis, well, what I heard was possible MS, then probable MS. Because so many thing mimic MS symptoms, like ChrissyH mentioned, they are very cautious about giving the "definite MS" diagnosis.

Hang in there. It could be the sciatica causing your problems or it could be something else. And once you do got a diagnosis of something, I'd still get a second opinion.
