weird new symptoms

Hello, All day today, my hands feel like they were shaking, but no visible shaking was present, it was like an inside shaking, also been having the feeling that something is crawling on me, but every time nothing is there. Anyone else ever have these? or am I losing it?

No, you're not losing it! You are experiencing the many sensory signal misfires from MS.

MS can cause many different kinds of sensory changes, most of which are annoying and uncomfortable but not serious. In other words, you may hate them but they on't indicate big-time disease progressions, and they generally aren't incapacitating. From a neuro's perspective, there's no need to treat these symptoms unless they're particularly bothersome. In which case a short course of high-dose corticosteroids may be helpful.

I have similar problems in that my right foot seems to like to vibrate. Only on the inside, and not vibrating on the outside. Certainly makes you feel like you are losing your mind, at least for me it does. Good thing is that these symptoms are usually temporary! Hang in there!

The vibrating feeling is one of my most irritating symptoms. Almost like having an eye twitch that will not stop. Not painful but super irritating!! So no...you aren't losing it. If you are I am too.

I have experienced the same thing. Mine has been the shaky feeling but is usually more of the vibration on the right side. Its on the inside that goes up my leg. It has happened to my left leg just not has frequent as the right. It defiantly can & will make you feel like your losing your mind but your not.

Yes, same here. I sometimes feel like a cell phone is strapped to my leg or foot on vibrate..Or I'm trembling on the inside... today I felt like something was crawling on my back and nothing was there.. the worst is the feeling of ants biting my ankles/feet... Always something odd/strange.. comes and goes..

Yes, thanks everyone! With my luck I will feel something crawling on me and I pay attention and that is when it will be a huge spider or something lmao.....(((HUGS)))

Dear you are NOT losing it.I have yet to be DX, but I have lots of sensory stuff and it has spread and gotten worse.I drop things and if I now hold a sppon to eat, spoon shakes,coffee in cup moves about becasue now I can see the cup shaking.I cannot separte paperplates.Do you have a neuro-please write down evey liitle thing so you have a complete list of what the heck is going on.I also have some memory parobless.We are not crazy and son't forget that.Like Lynne said it is the misfires of sensory signals. Ellen PS please taake care and do not be afraid to just lie down and take a nap.

Ellen, I have never been able to separate paper plates lol. I don't have a Neuro yet, I go in for the 2nd MRI on the brain on Thursday, this time with contrast. It seems he said I had MS with just the first brain scan....but he is not a Neuro, so I don't know what that means. I got no sleep last night, everything was burning and I have to work all day, oh lord what fun this disease is. :( Thank god for this site, I love you all!
