Hi girls! Remember me? I moved back home in Michigan, sorry I haven't wrote. People are saying that I am walking funny. I know my dr said there was any a SMALL chance of MS. But I am wondering. Please help me. I go see a new specialist nx week:(

I've got spasticity that leaves me with a funny limp. Don't feel alone, most of us don't walk "normally". Sometimes physical therapy can help out with walking issues. Good luck at your appointment next week!

I have "Cerebellum Ataxia" due to the MS...BUT this can also be a disorder in & of itself (the first article says no, but there are cases called "Spinal Cerebellar Ataxia" that is a specific disease of the Cerebellum).

Walk normally? HA!!! My crab-like sideways gait IS normal....it would be ABNORMAL if I suddenly walked straight and stopped slamming into walls. :D Best wishes...and be careful walking however you do it!

My first neuro symtom was a limp. As others have stated non of us really walk "normal"

someone gave you great info on cereberall ataxia. thats pretty common with MS

BobbyJ has it right, walking funny with MS is like butter is the bread.
I walk funny, I have drop foot and get an answer from this new specialist that you are going to see. You know the drill.......

My appointment is tomorrow making husband go, the dr needs to get all my info from the Colorado dr so he knows what happen. I will let you all know!! Thanks for being there!
