I use to have GREAT veins. When I would get blood drawn years ago they would say "I wish all my patients had veins like yours" meaning that they where great.
I had to get blood drawn a couple weeks ago and they had the hardest time getting blood.
Then had to get the die for the MRI and he tried and tried and tried then finally got one in the hand.

Anybody have problems with veins since MS ?

I don't think it is your veins per se, A lot of the people drawing blood are inexperienced.

I'm the same way. It really depends on the nurse/tech doing it. Some r just more skillful at it.

It could also be lack of water. If I don't drink enough it is very difficult to find a good vein. ChrissyH is so right! I used to put my arms behind my back until I knew where the phlebotomist went to school, how long she had been doing blood draws etc.

They thought I was crazy but it is our right not to be a pin cushion!
