Not so fast. 56.4% of people with MS had CCVSI but that means that 43.6 % had MS without having CCVSI. So it is not a cause of MS. Whats more 22.4% of healthy people had CCVSI and didn't have MS.

The amount of people who didn't have CCSVI and had MS anyway, is conclusive proof that CCSVI does not cause MS. And the healthy people living with CCVSI tells me it may just be within the range of normal for the human body.

Like more people with MS are born in March, April & MAY does not mean that all people with MS have a March, April, May birthday. Although I have MS and I have an april birthdate...that does not mean we start giving c-section to woman with a delivery date anticipated in March, April or May to reduce MS.

After all the data is collected and reviewed there may be something in it. After all many people speculate that MS isn't just 1 disease or perhaps it will be found the severity of MS is related tio CCSVI?

But there is a lot of data that needs to be collected first. As a scientist yourself, I think I read you were a chemist, you understand the importance of collecting and eveluating non corrupt data & CCVSI has a long way to go.

I think the 43.6% with MS and no CCVSI is very telling.

My 2 year old neice had a UTI, which is very rare in children so her pediatrician said. Her pediatrician order an MRI because of this. The MRI showed a growth on her bladder I think it was.

My very worried sister asked the doc what it meant. And he said I don't know. We do not have many children getting MRI's like this. So we don't know what it means, but now that we know it is there we are gonna keep an eye on it.

The 22.4% healthy people with it, may just mean its an advance in diagnostic equipment more than anything else.

As a scientist, I admire fresh and open ideas.I no longer defend the world being flat. Negativity, pessimism and arrogance hasn't cured anyone as of yet.Do you even want to see a cure? or are you still sleeping with the enemy?

I leave religious theory to theologians, they can say what Jesus did wrong. We have different view on fantasy and science. One of us views science as fantasy and one of us views science with a questing mind.
I don't watch a lot of fantasy videos.

Both he and Dr. Freedman also suggested that Dr. Ziadinov may be in a conflict of interest, given that his Buffalo Neuroimaging Analysis Center is now offering neck scans to MS patients for fees of $4,500 to $6,000.

Dr. Ziadinov said he and his colleagues debated the ethics of providing the service for a fee, but decided they had an ethical obligation to do so, partly because 15,000 MS patients had approached them to be part of clinical trials that have spots for just 500. The proceeds will fund the research, he added.

And that fee is with all the research grant money that has been provided by the MS Societies from multiple countries.

I haven't kept up with all of the new information coming out about MS cures mostly because I don't want to learn anything that will get my hopes up and then leave me devastated. I have enough to stress over without that needed worry.

However I would like to know what you (nnyl1) and others think might lead to a cure for MS or at least a huge development? I have a feeling that it might include stem cells but I haven't heard that much talk about it
