Hi,
I don't think ive post4ed here before...im Stephanie im 23 and Ive had MS since I was 19...I've been on copaxone since 2013, but had a brief non compliancy issue lol for a few months in 2013 and after a hospilization bc I ended u pparalyzed for few weeks ive been taking it faithfully. ....but my MS specialist and neurologist determined that the copaxone isn't working bc Im still having episodes and new lesions aand my ms specialist wants me to start tysarbi..has anyone had that med? do u think I should go for it...im so scared....any side effects....opinions?

I was on tysabri about 5 yrs ago I enjoyed it. No side affects for me felt good reason for stopping was positive for JVC virus. I did 13 infusions then stopped. Hope this treatment works out for you. Chuck

on tysabri for two years. no side effects no new lesions.....
Dr is very satisfied - go for it!

I was on Tysabri for 7 years. The only reason I quit is because Tecfidera which is a pill came out and I prefer pills over needles. I did not have 1 side effect. I made a good decision switching to Tysabri from betaseron. Not to get your hopes up but some people improved from Tysabri. I did not, but it has kept me stable for years. Good luck and yes I recommend switching. Don't be scared.

I had been on it for 2 years and after just 2-3 months I felt so much better. I had been tested for the JC Virus several times and I was right on the line for positive/negative so they determined it inconclusive. Around the 2 year mark I was tested again and came out positive which made me freak-out and stopped.

I have been on Betaseron, Copaxone, I tried Tysabri but I did not tolerate it. Now I'm taking tecfidara and I seem to be tolerating it very well. People have good success with Tysabri so I was say give it a try, just might be right for you.

tysabri is by far the best MS management drug

ive been on it for close to 3 years and even tho im negative for antibodies even if i go positive i will still stay on it without a worry

no side effects at all and even have a couple significant benefits ive noticed

as long as u can handle the poke once a month im certain u will love Ty

Ah, yes, Tysabri! I was on the drug 3.5 years but stopped when I tested positive for the JC virus. I recommend you speak to your doctors about the other medicines before trying Tysabri. Everyone is different and it probably depends on the severity of your symptoms. Good luck.
