Tysabri issues

What happens when you have anti-bodies for Tysabri? Is it ok to take steroids with tysabri? What if I need to stop taking tysabri, will I need a transfusion to start something else?

I have all this going on right now. Need some answers please.

Call the infusion center and ask them! They probably have a hot line that they can direct you to for info on this! Or, if not, call the Tysabri TOUCH people, or check online. There should be some options on this...if not, try calling the ER and see if there is a dr there that knows.

Personally, I would caution taking anti-bodies or steroids, because you may imbalance your immune system, and it needs to be up when you are taking Tysabri in my opinion.

do you have antibodies? if you have antibodies you cant take tysabri. if you are on tysabri you are not suppose to have steroids either. Call the touch program and see what they say, they are pretty nice, if you are on tysabri you have a case manager, talk with her.
