Over the last year, I have had burning pain in my calves, ankles, top and sides of foot which make it painful to walk. It feels like that burning you get when you exercise, like doing aerobics or lifting weights - and you FEEL THE BURN. It is PAINFUL, and I get it with every step. My neuro prescribed Magnesium, and it doesn't touch it. It now hurts to walk. Besides having MS legs that feel like they have fifteen pound weights on each ankle, now I have this unbearable pain and it is almost too painful to walk. Does anyone else have this problem, and did you get any effective treatment for it?

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

How's the stretching? Along with the calcium in our bodies allowing the muscles to contract and the need for the magnesium to allow them to relax again... without stretching, we continue to tighten and tighten the muscles.
For info on stretching, my most recent "go to" person is Miranda Esmonde-White, who conceived "Classical Stretch" working with doctors, therapists, etc.
My magnesium "go to" MD's have been Carolyn Dean, Russell Blaylock, Mark Hyman, Joseph Mercola. Mark Hyman has some very compelling articles on his website which recount the experiences he had with magnesium, his internship in ER's and more.
If you've already checked out all sorts of resources and haven't found help in this area, I hope you find something else that works for you.
