evidently my brain and I aren't on speaking terms today. I had two items on my grocery list and came home with two items. one was soy milk. the other was whipped cream, and whipped cream wasn't on my list. toilet paper was. you can't use whipped cream to wipe your bottom after you potty.
actually, cream has lactic acid which is an alpha hydroxe acid which acts as an exfoliant and skin softener, so you could use it down there to make the skin very soft, but you still have to clean up after.
ok, train of thought seriously de railed there.
I can't brain today, I have the dumb.
hubby just shook his head and laughed. now it's his turn to go out to the store to get tp.
I feel as confused as a mood ring that's being worn by a chameleon that's fallen into a bag of skittles.

The washer or dryer is called "That big white thing in the next room, you know the freezer!" By me here at my parents house TONS of times.
Sometimes the GIANT freezer that's 4 feet away on the porch is called The washer by me too!
They are all white, big, home-machines! MS makes a fun language.

I've learned to be a major list maker if I have things I need from the store and yes, I've done similar things even with the list in hand.

For the most part it is just the weird crazy words that pop out of my mouth during a conversation that get me. Me and those around me easily laugh about them though. Laughter is so good for the mind, body and soul and beats the heck out of crying over something we can't change!

Hahahaha!!! I love the chameleon and skittles bag remark and sorry to say glad I have company on this issue because I thought I was going crazy. I try to have a routine (yeah right with MS)...make a list (never checking it twice) and going to the store to get stuff and forget most of the stuff you went there for...oh yes I love shopping these days it can be comical. I also do the budget and of course I know 1+1 is 2 but this is where I definitely have to check my list but about to turn over the budget to my husband. Hope you finally got the tp. I HAVE to use the term my brain and I aren't speaking today...so funny.

Hee Hee I can so relate. I need to start laughing at my self instead of beating myself up about it. I am going to use "I feel as confused as a mood ring that's being worn by a chameleon that's fallen into a bag of skittles." Well maybe, cuz, I'll probably forget it.
