some studies show Cortisol reduces bone formation, favoring long-term development of osteoporosis. I have a friend who is in her early thirties and regularly takes cortisol and has now has osteoporosis.

It is up to you & Dr to decide. Depends if the symptom is getting worse, I would question your neurologist on that one. If it is oral tablets & low dose for a short time that would be a different decision totally as they are a lower dose & for a short time may ease the symptoms & just give your body a kick start back into the normal pattern.
