Well, I made it to the P Funk concert on Saturday. (With FREE tickets no less!!!) We got there at 8:00 and watched the opening band. I had one drink and one beer and was actually having a really good time and letting loose a bit. Then P Funk came on at about 9:30 and we moved into the crowd a little and the dancing started. I was having a blast but suddenly became aware that I was ON FIRE hot. I took off all the clothes I could remove without being arrested for indecency but it still wasn't enough. I told my husband that I needed to get out of the crowd for a while. We moved to the back of the venue and sat down but by this time it was too late. We watched a couple more songs from our seated position but I couldn't stop sweating and my ears + the loud noises were driving me crazy. It was time to go home. I only survived one hour of the funkiness. My legs were so weak on the way back to the car I almost didn't make it.

I felt really bad about asking my husband to leave early but I guess it's the reality. Sometimes you have to make adjustments. I had a great time while I was there and I'm glad I got to go. I love dancing and I love my friends and I love my husband so, all in all, it was a good thing.
