As some of you may recall, I was undiagnosed a few years ago by a neurologist. An MS specialist at that.

I had been diagnosed and treated for 10 years. My dr moved out of state and I found a new neuro. 1 1/2 years ago he yanked me off the medication and said all I need to do was go home, get into shape and I would be all better. That I do not have MS.

He said the 19 lesions I have are from migraines. He refused to address my spasms, optic neuritis, numbness, tingling, and on and on and on.

So 2 month ago I started back on Copaxone after finding a real neurologist.

I had another MRI. 1 1/2 year after my last one.

On my last one the optic nerve showed no damage... although I did have ON. There were 19 lesions, but the good news is the largest was .9 mm.

But now they are Measuring, 3, 4, and 6 mm with the largest being 8 mm.

I also have narrowing of the optic nerve in my right eye. There is also atrophy in the optic nerve.

And speaking of atrophy, I also have generalized brain atrophy.

At the margins of the corpus callosum there is also mild T2 bright signal and/or lesions. there is also thinning of the corpus callosum.

This is a HUGE change from my previous MRIs. I wonder how different things would have been had the doctor not played God with my brain.
