Hello! So i just took my second dosage of tecfidera....about a half hr after taken second dose my face was on FIRE!!!!!!!!! Bright red and burning like hell........ i heard this could happen....but wondering if any one out there goes thru this....how long does it last? Anything that helps relieve the burn???

So far my ritual is.. take a zantac, eat something fillling (peanut butter toast) and take the BG12 with a big glass of water.

It seems to help some..

I recently was told by the PA at my Neuro's office to take an asprin and that will help, but I haven't tried that yet.

You are experiencing "flushing" side effects. Yes, asprin will help. I've been on Tefidera for about 4 months now and this side effect has almost stopped completely. I hope it gets better for you!
