Hello everyone - i used to be very active with this group until my company blocked access to the site. i just got a new home computer, so i am back and looking forward to catching up. I read some of the prior posts about tecfidera but it is hard to follow threads on a search (unless i am doing it wrong).
For those on tecfidera, I am wondering;
What you were on before?
What is/ your level of disability?
Why did you switch and what are you results so far?
I am secondary progressive and i use a scooter full time. i have been on tysabri for 2 years. I would love to switch to an oral drug - especially because i have such bad veins, but i am afraid to change anything at this point. I am getting worse very slowly - and my doctor says its the tysabri that is preventing the progression from being worse. And that tysabri is still the most effective drug on the market.
What is your experience?

As for effectiveness I've heard something like Tecifedra is 50%, Gylenia is 60% and Tysabri is 70% (basically-- with everything else falling at the 30% mark)
