do you guys take a few days off your dmd if you get sick? i've had a chest cold for about a week now and i thought it was getting better, but then it kicked back up a few hours after i took rebif

does it just make it easier for the body to fight off the infection? if i skipped, i'd wait until my last shot on thursday, then take until tuesday or next thursday off

Good question. If i can help it i try not to skip. In my mind i always tell myself that even though i am feeling horrible from my illness/cold at least i am not letting my MS advance because i am taking my Rebif

I agree with Chrissy. I do not think you should stop your DMD treatment when you get sick. You might have had a side affect from your Rebif. I do not believe there is no evidence that DMD's induce a sickness, only side affects that eventually go away. At least I've never heard of any. Good post!
