I got to be a fan of wigs back the first few years I used Avonex.
I have stopped taking Avonex for a year or 2 myself because of it's side effects and I hated that piles of hair started getting clumped when I brushed it. When my neuro told me that could happen with those drugs, I was horrified. Of course I was 22 and still not believing I had what he claimed I had because I walked most of the time great in my 5 inch platform heels and my eyes cleared up so I saw normal...
I'm thinkin of tryin the BG-12 and hopin it doesn't make hair fall out like these others do.
Best of luck!
Good luck with your decision on medication. If you haven't visited a wig store, you might want to take a look. There are some awesome hairstyles in the store at my local mall.
My hair is now thinning due to being mid-50's. Would a natural dye like henna work? Or hair pieces/extensions. Maybe a trip to a Dermatologist for options?
I remember when Princess Caroline of Monaco lost all her beautiful dark hair after she watched her husband crash and be killed in a race car competition.
There are amazing head wraps you can use and Omega 3-6-9 or fish oil supplements meant to nourish hair.
Hope you find something that makes you feel comfortable.
