Hi Ladies,
I am using the supra-pubic catheter & we were going swimming over the weekend so I used the flip-flow valve on the catheter. This is instead of the bag so I can go swimming etc. I thought that the flip valve was supposed to then be the way to release from bladder by opening it. I tried that way & it only dripped. I bypassed each time & went through the bladder instead (usual way).
Would like to know if anyone else has used this & had the same problems or not? I am not sure if this is usual or not too. I want to be able to enjoy swimming & wearing other things like shorts which I didn't do last summer due to lack of confidence. This summer/spring I want to do that.
Any advice would be appreciated.
