you want a natural material b/c they breath
I think silk is also breathable
what you want to watch is what else is in it make sure it is 100% cotton or linen
do not get the form fitting
I find lose skirts & blouses
get the thinner ones
I am also very fare skinned so I get the long sleeve blouses and the skirts that are below the knee
I mind the heat greatly but I find having loose fitting clothing lets the breeze through and cools me off
this clothing also hides bruises , urine leg bags, beefs or pads
I do usually have one of the neck coolers on & if hot & we are going out I take a small cooler (like 6 can) bag with ice block on bottom & spare neck cooler or 2 & can change, run the one you have been wearing under cold water (if can out in bow/sink even better) then back in cooler bag to get cool again.
There is also a thinner material that is cotton & that is great. Always wear loose & comfortable clothes as much as possible to keep cool.
This summer I wore a couple of dresses & tops I was lucky enough to get in Thailand, Bangkok & Vietnam & they were mainly loose & so comfortable, the tops were v-nick with elastic around the waist & a bit if frill(?) material from there down. The dresses had a pull in/drawstring under boob line & loose from there with slit up one/both sides. A lot of girls/ladies on cruise got shorter dresses like that too.
You can buy these on line, ebay is great, just be sure of who you are buying from etc as usual & I always pay paypal for safety.
Hope some of this helps.
