Sudden pain from copaxone!

I have taken Copaxone for a while now. No pain, other than afterwards in the injection site.

But as the needle goes in, no pain, don't even feel it. Now it hurts like %$@#. As the needle goes in it hurts so bad I almost scream. Why did it suddenly start hurting?

Any ideas? I am injecting the same way.

I did copaxone for awhile and after some time I started getting necrosis(?) in the old spots where the fat tissue was damaged from prior shots. Injecting into any of those areas was terrible. Eventually, even with daily rotation of all areas, there were just too many bad spots and not enough good ones so it was becoming more and more painful to take the shots.

Not sure if that is what you're having, but that was my experience.

Make sure the alcohol is dry & the needle setting hasn't changed. I had to stop injecting my arms due to the damage from prior shots. I have plenty of fat elsewhere:) There are times it still stings like a SOB. Good luck.
