state disability

I have a question regarding disability. I'm in California & on part time disability. Next year I'm moving to Oregon the Dr says the cooler weather is better for me.

Has anyone done this? Is it hard or am I going to loose it all together?
Any info would be great.

I am on my social securty disability. I got it first time, didnt need a lawyer to get it. I didn't know there was a state disability as well. My SS will transfer to any state or US territory.

I'm so happy to hear you had no trouble getting your ssdi. I need to do this
I'm having so many problems with my job. My Dr said it would be best for me to do this asap. How long did it take you?

i had hoped you got my reply personally but it didn't record that I sent a message. argh!!!! Sometimes I do not like this site.

But the answer to your question is that it only took me 5 monhs. After the state doctor examined me I was approved. I am told that I was one of the lucky ones. Is that really lucky? I would rather be one of the lucky ones that didn't get this and can still work making a decent living.
