I've not heard of many skin problems from MS and I'm an Esthetician. However, the immune system does strange things to our bodies. I had strange white scaly bumps on my ankles and tops of feet that were flaky.. figured out I had too much yeast in my body and they went away.
I would suggest you immediately make an appointment with a dermatologist and do not let this go especially b/c it's infected ! That's not normal and a dermatologist will have the answer ! Please don't put this off.

I agree. You need to see a dermatologist for this. The only skin issues dealing with MS is from some of the injections. At least that is all I know of.

I actually started my journey toward diagnosis with a sun sensitive rash. I know that it's not technically an MS symptom but it was an autoimmune thing that could never be identified as anything other than a weird autoimmune rash with no known cause. It's the main reason I'm not satisfied with my diagnosis and will be heading for a second opinion soon. Glad the antibiotics are helping. Still might be good to see a dermatologist though. Just in case.

I have never heard of that being an symptom. But like everything else it could be a possibility. Since it is infected from where your jeans sit. I would def take the antibiotics and see a derm.

When you call the derm, I would tell them about the mole but ask for a full body exam since your there. Insurance wise, if it goes under a medical concern instead of wanting to get a mole looked at/removed they are more likely to cover it. Then it wont be considered a cosmetic.

With any mole you don't want it to get infected. Its not good when they are whether its caused by jeans or because its mole than a benign mole.

Skin cancer would be my concern there and need to visit a dermatologist, I've known of some ms people with skin cancer.
