My strength and energy levels have been depleting over the last two weeks, to the point where over the weekend I had to take several naps. And I mean HAD TO. I didn't have a choice. I know we all have fatigue, and mine has been steady over the years, but this is different. I do a few tasks at work, then feel like there is NO way I can type one more sentence, so I have to sit for a while before I can do anything else. Does this warrant a call to my doctor, or will it pass? I don't think he can do anything, because I've already tried all of the meds for fatigue and they don't work for one reason or another. Is this a case where solu-medrol might help? Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

Hoping for greater energy ahead.
Sometimes it's not only MS to look out for either. Do you have any thyroid symptoms at all? I have hypothyroidism so I check with my naturopath to ensure my meds for that are at appropriate levels.
lorrieonline, my thyroid is fine; my doctor monitors my labs pretty closely. I am perimenopausal though. I wonder if that, combined with the MS and depression could be the culprit. I have tried amantadine, but it didn't work well with the antidepressant I take. And I loved Provigil, but again didn't mix with the antidepressant. Hmmm...sounds like I should change the antidepressant, doesn't it? :)
Again, thank you for your advice.
