If you get on aggressive drug therapy early, it is really proven to slow the disease down. It can stop a major MS episode from happening, where the body cannot repair itself. If Gilenia isn't working out for you, research the other drugs available, but do something. Don't delay treatment. See this very helpful article on searching for new therapy:

Also you may want to keep a log of any symptoms or questions you have. I always forget if I don't. Good luck, hope all goes well.
Research a new med called Aubagio. Sounds good but don't know about heart rate.

If you are on other medications I would take all those medications to your Dr. so he can physically see what you are on. Ask what are all the options for treatment for you.
Personally I would not take it with a heart rate that low if it causes low heart rate. Secondly I would see your pcp or cardio about your already low heart rate. One of your other medications could be causing this. Especially if your on BP meds.
