Well , I had a bad couple months-but things have gotten better since I bought the rollalater. I'm still fortunate enough to be working Full Time thanks in large part to the vitamens that I take every day and the 3 times weekly Baclofen shot. By the end of the day my drop foot was almost too much to bear...I needed help to attempt to stand to make dinner, do laundry and be a mom and wife. Fortunately, if I get the chance to sit and rest I have enough energy to get up and keep going. But there's days when even that doesn't seem to do it. The rollalator has a seat too that prevents me from trying to drag a chair to wherever I am working. I know it probably doesn't seem like much to some folks that are still fortunate to have all their leg strength for the entire day, but for me it lets me continue to move forward with my daily life. Little Victories I always say!

1 1/2 years ago I lost my ability to walk without falling due to a nasty infection. My MS Nurse & OR wanted me to get a ROLLATER to help me walk. My husband went out & got one, but I was so stubborn I didn't use it often. At the same time I was getting therapy for a rip in my Rotator Cuff. I met another lady with MS who used it to help her not get exhausted so quickly. That encouraged me to use it when I needed to. Conserve energy. After that we took the kids to an amusement part that would entail walking for 7-8 hours. For that I used a Raskel. I may have been able to continue to do more when we got home. I even have now decided to take it on vacation so I'll have the strength to 'walk' to dinner, etc.
You are very wise to use the rollator to conserve ur energy.

it is a good idea to use what tools you can to increase your quality of life. David has recently discovered that if he is walking any real distance his left knee struggles to cope and it just gives out so I recently brought him a wheelchair, he wasn't very happy to be "giving in" so I stuck little shiny star stickers all over and we don't call it a wheel chair we call it bob and say is bob coming

This combo walker/wheelchair can be real handy if you have a long ways to walk. I have one and test myself more just knowing I can be pushed back if I get too tired..

I got one very similar, and I love the adjustable heights, storage and brakes too. It is very lightweight and collapsible to fit easily into my car. Its just comforting knowing its there when my legs are too tired to get around without some help. Glad yours helps you too!
