I've always had respect for people with mobility issues but in the last two days of two weeks of being on crutches my respect has doubled. I would see people on crutches or in a chair and my thought was that poor person! It must be hard. Now I'm walking-or in my case limping along with crutches- in their shoes and now I'm thinking there but for the grace of God go I. Two weeks are going to do me in. I couldn't imagine dealing with that for the rest of my life.
