I am not sure, but I have it along with what is called gastroparesis, which is a problem with stomach emptying, which is caused by nerve damage and that is ms related

I was on another site and they had relux listed as a symptom.

you know..this one thing ticked me off for years..grin..i was actually treated for it..ruined my teeth..as it does..paid aprox..i think 98 a month for pantaloc to treat it..sigh..and it went on for about 6 years...it was horrid...then it got to the point where the pantaloc was not working alone so i was taking it plus..zantac..the highest dose i could buy over the counter...
finally my new family dr. ..switched my arthritus med..from naproxen to celebrex...and the acid relux disappeared....even though i had been though all the testing etc...and it had all come up postive...becuase when i was on the naproxen it was eating the lining of my stomach...so please take a moment to speak to your pharmecy and ask them about the meds your on..and if any of them can cause the symptoms of acid reflux...you may be paying to not only make yourself ill..but also to try to make yourself better at the same time...sigh....and the one who will catch it...i find is your pharmecy more often then not..

I HAVE ACID REFLUX IAM ON PREVACID, DONT THINK ITS ASX OF MS, BUT I GUESS ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. ALSO I GET NASEAU SOMETIMES FROM SLOW STOMACH EMPTYING.

I take prevacid never had any type of issue until July 07, no stomach issues or anything like that.

Psst... I have a secret to share, try drinking a medium sized glass of apple juice with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar it has helped me tremendously with heartburn. I have this twice a day.

I have it really bad....the neuro said irrigate...irrigate...irrigate lots of water and it does help...still it is very annoying...I think any auto immune disease it is a problem

I also suffer from this. I've been on Protonix for 6 years now. If I don't take it I'm on fire!!

I have just started having heartburn/pain behind my sternum and felling lousy since Thursday of this week. I am going to call my doctor about this on Monday. The only other times in my life where I have had heartburn like this is when I was pregnant....and I know for a fact I am not....it would have to be another immaculate conception. No matter what I eat or drink, it is giving me heartburn, so I don't want to eat very much right now, but still feel bloated. Can't wait til Monday!!

Everyones comments make me think reflux is a symptom of ms, I have never had heart burn or any other disgestion type issue before this.
