I have been attempting to get started on rebif since August but my insurance keeps denying the coverage as they say the form says I have primary progressive ms which I don't, I have relapsing remitting MS. SMH. They denied it 2x now they say an appeal has to be filed by doctors office to insurance(cigna) as I patiently wait. I am beginning to wonder if this is a sign that I should not take. Just venting.

Paperwork errors are always a problem. Did some other doctor write that you are PPMS? Can your current doctor write a letter saying you are RRMS?

I am currently on Rebif, but will probably stop next year as I believe that I am transitioning into Secondary Progressive. My neuro agrees but won't put it on record because he wants me to be able to make the decision about meds.

These things can be so frustrating, can't they? I would get on the phone with the doctor's receptionist and see if she can help sort this out. Could very well be a case of a typo or something. I don't know if it's a sign but it sure sounds like a huge delay for you. Hope you get some help sorting this out.

    I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital.  I don't think that we will have her much longer.  She is very frail.  Now she needs help eating.  So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying.  I think crying releases toxins into my body.  I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
