Stupid question, but what is a raynaud?

okay i actually had to google that one..rofl..it is cold hands....i get it occassionaly..more so now that we moved back north..grin..

but yes in the summer i have it in both feets and my hands...

I don't think I have that but I am just a shivering mess this Winter so far. The 10 or 15 lbs. I gained this year for insulation seems to be working in reverse?

actually reynauds, is when your circulation is screwed up with the vessels, your fingers for example will turn white,red,blue....i had my middle finger stay that way for four days(blue) this happened twice. the er just said reynauds...not fun. they can put you on bloodpressure meds to dialate the vessels if you have more and more incedents.

Me too. My fingers turn pure white and sometimes my toes turn purple. One time I scared myself when I saw a big purply-red thing in the soap suds in my shower! It was my big toe, LOL!

Stopping smoking really cut it down though.

I have had it for years............one hand will be like ice and the other normal. I get it mostly in my toes. They turn white and stay like that for hours, even if I've only been outside a short time.

My hubby has this in both toes and fingers. His fingers get cold and waxy like- almost like a cadavers! eeewww. I got him some gloves that are stretchy and cut the tiny tips out for the fingertips & make him wear those in the house during the winter. Plus always socks plus warm slippers. Scares me he will lose them someday (the fingers & toes, not the slippers!)
