Hi Everyone,
I hope everybody is doing good and safegaurding your bodies in this heat.
I have a question about the meds we take, I take Rebiff and have been on it for two months now and have had almost no side effects other than slight increase in temp. For the people who do not take Rebif it comes as 4 three packs. Starting last week on my last pack it has been giving me a pretty good fever, I go from my 97,2 to 101.1 I want to know if anyone has gotten a reaction to there meds a few months in that they did'nt start with or if you think this is just a fluke. Also for the Rebif users this is the first time I took the pack out and let it sit at room temp as the nurse that called from MS Lifelines said it was ok.
Anyone have any thoughts or comments

I've been on Rebiff for several years. My DR tells me to take 2 Aleve about an hour before the injection & to do the injection in the evening to sleep off any side effects it might cause. The flu symptoms aren't severe but I do deal with them. You can leave Rebiff out @ room temp for upto a month, this helps cut down injection site reaction. If injection site reaction is bad for you try putting a warm moist cloth on the injection site while you get your needle ready & alc prep pad out. Don't forget to massage for sev minutes after to get the medicine flowing. And most of all don't get stuck on a sweet spot-you'll damage your skin & begin to get rips. I just had a lecture on sweet spots again from my RN & I'm going to be inspected in October to make sure I've moved away from my stomach.
