I got this article in an Oregon Business Magazine (Who would think that would be where to get the new information.)

The article reports that Artielle ImmunoTherapeutics Inc., a biotech company, is planning to launch a clinical trial for a new therapy which is expected to reverse the dysregulation of the immune system associated with multiple sclerosis (MS) and promote nerve regeneration.

It says this was developed by researchers at Oregon Health Sciences Institute. And its being used on a woman with secondary progressive MS. She is 55. Sounds like me!!

Right on is absolutely right!! I am excited too. It helps me to have some insight into this business. In my former life I worked as a market research consultant for a medical advertising firm.

One of my most interesting projects was helping a small biotech firm understand what it takes to attract a large pharmaceutical company to join/acquire them in there quest to further drug development. The field is 'combinatorial chemistry' or a form of molecular biology.

The reason it was in the business journal is because as these companies go public, they are exciting to watch and are an interesting stock for riskier investors.

It sounds interesting and I sure hope it holds promise for us!!

The article is dated 2007..........here is a link that will give you 2012 updated info on the trials that are being done on RTL1000, as is moves forward.

They need a partner with money. I am emailing them with an offer to try and help. I used to work in that area. Boston has a lot of biotechs (biogen is here). There is a lot of MS in New England. I will do anything it takes to advance a cure.
