An evaluation by a physical and/or occupational therapist is a great way to start dealing with this issue. They can design an exercise program that helps you preserve the muscle strength you do have, and possibly regain some of what you've lost. Believe it or not (and I didn't know this until I went to PT myself), just starting an exercise program on your own can actually make weakness and muscle fatigue WORSE
if you're not careful to target the right muscle groups and balance your workout among them.
I'm a big fan of PT/OT. It's helpful for all stages of MS, and really can help you understand your body.
