Hello, I'm new here. I have had back issues for the past three years, I have degenerative disc disease and two bulging discs, one lumbar and one thoracic. I have had nerve pain for the past three yrs in my lower left leg and left foot, but for the last 4 months ive had constant deep muscle pain on the top of both legs and off and on sunburn like pain on legs and arms, sometimes hands, then I had severe tongue pain that lasted one week, and on and off tingling in my fingers. I had a brain scan and it showed 4 lesions, I'm going in Thursday for a MRI with contrast. This doctor said it looked like MS. My question is.....if I have had all these symptoms and tons more off and on for the past 4 months, but the nerve pain for 3 yrs, does that mean it may be PPMS? My symptoms never do away, they just change. I also have had the MS hug three times in my life, but this was years ago. Any thoughts?
