Can't remember if we discussed this a couple years ago or not, but can MS in anyway cause palpitations or tachycardia?

I have had palpitations and irregular heart beats for 10+ years. When I get hot the feeling of my heart beating in my throat and ears is my first symptom. Cardio check ups always comes back clear, but I can't help but believe there is a cardio part to this disease.

I've had palpitations most of my adult life, nothing serious in my case though. I know that copaxone causes palpitations and/or tachycardia in %9 of users vs. %5 in a control group not using anything.

I've been having rapid, irregular heartbeats off and on for over 20 years. Wore a heart monitor harness twice - didn't catch anything. Blood pressure is fine, so the doctor said it's " abnormal, but not uncommon". Chalked it up to being female. I'll ask my neuro if it could also be MS.

Thank you all for the responses. If anyone gets verification from a doc that this could be related to MS please let me know.
