In 2010 following multi surgeries I had a bad episode of pain. Mostly in the legs, back, and feet. It felt like I was being stabbed to death. Very sharp stabbing pain. Came and went, not a costent feeling. It was extreamly painful. It hit me hard and it lasted for a few months before scaling down. It didn't fully disappear until 2011 spring. About 2 weeks ago I had another bad episode. Thou no where near the pain of the first one. I still had sharp stabbing pains. This time hit my legs, feet, back, and hands. It didn't last long only a few days before feeling just went away in hands and feet and now I feel very little. I asked my current family doc about ms. I'd done a lot of reading about ms and it really seemed like me. My family doc said very quickly "no ms doesn't cause any pain at all, just weakness". I wouldn't drop it and he was forced to refer me to a neurologist. I saw the neuro yesterday she said "ms shouldn't cause severe pain unless it's a progressing form". We are doing the nerve function test and a brain and spinal mri. So I will known in a few weeks if it really is ms or not. I have some doubts about ms. I have done a lot of reading about ms and I see a number of references about pain with ms. I was wondering if ms does cause pain or not?
