I am wondering if pain, spasms, and paralysis are primarily caused by active (or perhaps inactive) lesions on the spine? I ask this because I don't have the pain (thank the good Lord!) nor the spasms (not that I'm aware of) and definitely not the paralysis. As I read so many posts and so many MS victims appear to have one or all three of these, I started to think that perhaps I didn't have these (don't get me wrong--I don't want them) because I have only one lesion on the spine. I have several on the brain, but all inactive at this point. The one on the spine was the one which caused all of symptoms and the one which was active when I was diagnosed and apparently the 'trouble maker' of the group. So I am curious. Some of you seem to have many spinal lesions, so that led to my question. I'm very curious about the answers.

I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
