#2: I use Arnica Montana spray made by Hyland's. It comes in a 4 oz. bottle and you spray it on your feet/legs and rub it in. It seems to help.
#3: I found another one called "Feet Relief". It had a pair of green colored feet on the bottle. It warms your feet up and makes them feel good.
#4: I find keeping my feet warm helps and that the cold makes them hurt more, so keep your feet warm.
#5: If spasms hit bad, I put a 5 mg. Valium under my tongue. That way it travels into the blood stream much quicker and will give some relief if you are experiencing spasms.
#6: Find a pain medication that works for you. You might have to try a few different ones. I take Tylenol #4 and 30 mg. of morphine at bedtime normally.
Best of luck and I hope you find some relief for you aching feet!
Also, back to the hot and cold. I get cold easy, but luckily I live in AZ and as for hot - when I get hot I feel incredibly irritated and I've always been a calm/melow person, so it's out of character. OR... does heat sensitivity mean, a hot shower hurts, b/c to me that feels good. I hope I'm making sense.
Also, if I have MS - how important is it to get diagnosed right away? B/C, I'm a stay-at-home mom and if I believe I have this, I MUST get a job with a company that has good insurance before being diagnosed. I don't want to run into issues of being, what's the word??? (there's my brain fog... pre...something" UGH!
More importantly, I'm so-sorry to hear everything you've had to go through. I can't imagine. I've been in pain too, but no where near all that. I haven't had any vision issues or sensitivity to hot - I just get temperamental and lose all focus when I feel hot, but again, a hot shower soothes me in the mornings. So, I hate to keep asking questions, but when did your sensativity to heat begin? And heat in regards to weather, touching something hot, or a hot shower?
One other thing I forgot to mention that I have some pain in my fingers too when I bend them - almost like carpel-tunnel and it's the same type of pain in feet too, but worse on my feet b/c I walk on them.
Also, I haven't been diagnosed with anything other than plantar facitiis 6 years ago, but the pain is ongoing and it's in my toes, calves and fingers. So, I just feel there is something more going on. My blood panel came back with a positive "something" RH, or AA factor (can't remember) and so I saw a rheumatoid arthritis specialist and he said I don't have arthritis. The nausea has become worse over the last few months, especially when I don't get enough sleep, and my increasingly bad brain fog makes me feel like I have early signs of Alzheimers, although I'm 35. I really dislike ranting about my aches and pains, b/c I feel so blessed in so many ways, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this and doctors these days don't seem to be able to connect the dots like I think they should. Very few see beyond their own box of medicine - in my opinion.
