Again, thank you so much. I really like this board, and I hope that we can continue to help and learn from each other.

Let's continue to be hopeful and consider the fact that some things work well on some of us and don't work on the rest.
The value here was in the open discussion, pros & cons, and I hope that does not change.
He was only testing to see if angioplasty helped with MS...he never claimed it was a cure or that all MS people had CCSVI---that may have come from news sensationalism.
In Dr. Zamonies trial, he reconfirmed the CCVSI in MS people then did angioplasty on the order of the reconfirmed MS people with CCSVI.
So thats what the Buffalo trial should do next, to confirm that the CCSVI trial is repeatable. They just duplicated Dr. Zamboni's trial and release the #'s on non CCSVI & CCSVI.
Now the buffalo trial should reconfirm the people with MS and CCSVI after the reconfirmation start angioplasty without the stents that were used in LA. That's what should be next, proving its repeatable and the benefits are what was observed & reported in the 65 person trial.
We are still at the flip a coin part....when it is done you might be
the one with the correct idea.
I got into this with another person who was in limbo with what DMD she should go to next. The one she had used for more than 125 years did not appear to be doing the job. Tysabri was recommened but she just has a bad feeling about Tysabri. So when the liberation procedure came out she thought it solved her problem And me I have already invested much into Tysabri--probably the liberation procedure would not be too exciting for me with my investment in TY. For her the liberation thoery means a lot as a way of avoiding Ty or anything else less pleasant.
Two different motivation for how the liberation procedure is viewed...and a reason friction will happen until the answer is finally known. Flip a coin and don't get to upset about the friction...you might be right & I might be right.
No one knew if the colts were gonna win the superbowl or the saints until the game was done, but everyone had an opinion.
doubting thomas--never proved anything
I think it is important to discuss any new developments as we dont know which one will work for different people.
There are a few people having some tests done here & I know in one case after the test of the veins (or whatever they are) they have been able to find possible ways of alleviating some of her pain. That is a benefit even if its not a cure.
Who knows what will be found maybe as a deviation of this original theory too?
Concerning Zamboni's work, who knows? Even if it just works for some to any degree it is good. I have PPMS and the findings have no or very few positives for me but I hope for others it will work.
I don't hit the ignore on anyone because all deserve to be heard. Sometimes this is the only safe place to bring up our fears, our more humiliating issues, our anger. It isn't always comfortable, but neither is MS.
Lets keep supporting each other! Lets keep listening! Lets continue to be understanding.
