I do understand that. Most of the time I can not feel the needle from my injection going in. I also burn myself and do not feel it. When I am cooking, I have to be careful cutting. Sometimes I can not feel that either. It is something that I have learn to deal with.

I have numbness in a portion of my thighs, yet I feel pain inside of them. It's very strange. However my point is that my neuro suggested that my pain management doctor inject a nerve blocker in that particular nerve routing to my thigh area to block the pain. I'm already numb there so why not? Maybe something like this would work for you?

As for the numbness, and pain...that I do understand. My entire right side is actually numb, and has been since I got the dx in 2008...but, now if anything, anyone, or even I touch anywhere on that side, it hurts! Crazy ms stuff.
But, I also know I have places on my left side that are numb also. Mostly the lower leg/foot (obviously, the knee!) and my hand. Strange how it is in "some" areas, but, not "all" areas.

I notice my feet feeling numb at times and my arms get a bit too. I'm trying to get more circulation to see if that will help. It's a strange feeling for sure (and a bit scary). I pray that we find something that helps.
