Nubmness in stomach

Finally when and looked into it more. Saw the Gastrologist, hope I spelled that right after we got to be so close. Had an upper and lower GI done. Didn't even buy me dinner and then sent me the bill. Funny they tell you to pre-treat, before your shots with motrin or other OTC stuff for the side effects. now it my have caused some internal problems. one thing just leads to another. Now I have to get blood work to see what's next. Anyone out there that was takling about the numbness in the stomach look into it? It may have nothing to do with the MS at all.

Sorry you are going through this yucky & uncomfortable sensation.
Did the gastroenterologist give you any results from the gi? Maybe it shows something. At least the Dr's are investigating it for you.
I have had a lot of abdomen issues & it is very hard to dx what is wrong sometimes. It may have nothing to do with ms at all but as you said caused by some of the medications you have had.
Until you get answers there is nothing really you can do other than to make sure that you are eating healthy & plenty of water too.
I hope that the numbness goes away or that an answer is found for you soon.

One of my first symptoms (and that of Nancy Davis) was a numb stomach to the touch. Had just had a hysterectomy so thought that was it. It was the GYN who said after so much time had elapsed it had to be neuro problem NOT his hysterectomy surgery. He was correct! Tummy numbness - one of the signs of MS. As for GI issues, they are my weak spot and I have suffered for years from them and I do believe they are MS related and that is how my exacerbation manifest. I do hope you find the root of your trouble but don't be surprised if you undergo all these tests and then a "new" symptom pops up. MS is that way and the "brain" is located in the gut and I am a believer that a lot of the MS emanates from the gut so the gut is wherein lies the problem. As of yet I have not found anything that rectifies the problem except for time and by the time I get rid of one symptom, as I said, another rears its ugly head. So just writing to let you know you are NOT alone in this.
