I'm sorry going home became to difficult for you. It's wonderful you've managed to stay active at the hospital though despite your pain. Did you try the collar they suggested for your neck pain or any new meds? You're an inspiration for your determination despite all you've been through you've continued to help many through your work with abuse victims and by encouraging all of US. Praying for you to get some relief. I think many of US find it difficult outside of our daily routines.. many hugs and blessings to you

The volunteer work is one of the only thing that keeps me going. It helps me sooo much.

Yes I got the collar. It helps some of the time. I find at other times it adds pressure & headaches.

I am going to talk to my doc tomorrow morning about the amount of pain I am in.
One of the things I am going to bring up is a TENS machine to see if I can get him to approve it. Hopefully I can get relief from the pain

If going home is just too much for you these days, have Bruce come to you. You mentioned in your message to me that his medication has been adjusted and his heartbeat is becoming more stabilized. It will be good for him to come see you from an exercise standpoint, and it will be wonderful for you both mentally. I'm sure the chemo has something to do with you feeling so fatigued. Did you ever talk to your doctor about a script for provigil or provigil like medication to help with fatigue? Don't ever think you have failed in life about anything you do or don't do. Physically right now you cannot do it, who's to say next month this fatigue will pass? You are not a failure! Think of all the people you help with your chrisis hotline help. Think how wonderful it is for Bruce to come see you and the joy it brings him.

Kayce, I can't really add anything helpful that the others haven't already said. I agree with them both! I just wanted you to know that you are one person I think of every single day, and your strength and outlook always humbles me when I start to feel low.

Get all your levels checked before adding another med. Glad the collar helps somewhat.

Do what is best for you and never second guess your choices.

I had a time I couldn't get out of bed by myself, felt drunk, couldn't stay awake, now I have a new normal.

Hi. You can only do what you can do. MS makes some weeks harder, then some lighter for me. I have to look at in perspective. I use a Tens unit almost daily. I have for years. Between that and ice packs it makes life more bearable,

You shouldn't feel like you failed with going home, you only fail if you never tried. I believe in time you may even feel good enough to give it another go.

YOU HAVE NOT FAILED.I think taht the change in routine from where u are to home and bk again has worn you out and the stress is hard on your poor body.My son is staying with a freind during the week and we go to church together on the wkends.My freind's Mother became ill and for 2 weekends I had my son all weekend and by Sunday nite- he was banging his head on the wall and I was reaching for his PRN meds-my son has Autism as said in my profile.Hell I felt like a failure, but the routine changed for me and the routine changed for him-stress then messed my son and I up!!!!
