oh my goodness, my biceps are extremely sensitive to touch, a moderate touch feels like hitting a bruise. Generally stiff and mildly sore all over and my back hurts in one particular area, not getting much sleep because i wake up with pain and my muscles are tense
my neuro is also not really a fan of pain meds, i'm not either - but am willing to take some if it gets to the point of not being able to function to my best ability because of pain
all i have is imitrex, but have only taken it once ever because it knocks me out cold
after a few days like this, it just gets frustrating, if you know what i mean,

I am so sorry re your situation. But no one should be in pain. Get pain management.

Have you tried a muscle relaxer? I have to take one and it helps me.

I agree with ezone, get some pain management. It was the best thing I did for my MS symptoms! Hope you are feeling better soon!

For a pill alternative try a tens unit, have a two channel unit and it helps to excite the muscle groups in spasm to the point of exhaustion giving me the chance to get some sleep. The spasms can get to a point were they are self feeding, the fatigue causes spasm then the spasm causes fatigue, vicious cycle sometimes a workout will help but with other issues the pool is the only place that I can workout without the heat getting me.
