Does anyone else have a partner who is generally very good and understanding about your MS, but when push comes to shove isn't quite there?
As in, if we go somewhere walking together he doesn't quite have the sensibility to adjust his pace to mine, to offer his arm in a loving way but rather awkwardly and (what is going to happen or NOT happen tomorrow) find excuses to not accompany me to the neurologist.
I have been OK about it, mostly because a friend of mine has been awesome and takes me most of the time, but she is bailing out on me tomorrow.
I can't help but feel really let down.

I find that men think a bit differently to us and don't always predict the possible ( assuming, I guess, that it's all in the future!)
Mine sounds like yours, but often remarks that I have made a typical 'female response' (whatever that is .....and how could I do otherwise anyway?)
Instead of saying 'gosh the bathroom window needs cleaning' I am supposed to say 'Honey, would you clean the bathroom window. ' ('This year', I'm tempted to add!!!!)
Having said all that, I couldn't do without him! (and he did clean the window!)
