I have the same issue...except my fingers go numb as well. I too am waiting for an official diagnosis, so I can't really offer any advice other than you are not alone!

My hands and feet don't fall asleep exactly... What I mean is it doesn't feel the same as when I lay on my hand for too long and it falls asleep or sit on the floor with my legs crossed (back when I could! lol) and my foot falls asleep.

Mine tingles a little and 'buzzes'. It sort of feels like something vibrating under the skin. I don't know a better way to describe it. Shaking it, rubbing it etc. doesn't seem to help much either. :/ Just more of the 'weird' stuff I guess and goes to show how everyone is so different!

The 23rd will be here before you know it... and no matter what they say, you will be one step closer to answers, even if it does feel like you are spinning your wheels. :o)

Bon, my hands I have to shake out also, my ends of my fingers are numb and I get tingles down my fingers.I get tightness in my joints, mostly ankles, wrists and kneFor the horrid tingles and twinges I get when I lay down for bed-my PCP has prescribed neurontin-I am sleeping like a baby and it has helped.Hnag in tehre der.I too still waiting on DX-have to go take my nap but this week, when I am up to it I have a long post I want to share of some comfort measures and things to help with my hand control taht I am using.I am also waiting on my referral from PCH to OT to evaluate me.Hang in there dear. HugsEllen-I did not ck this post for typos.Am suddenly exhausted and am down for my pm nap.

Don't forget to write this symptom down on your symptom chart for the doctor!

yes this is a very common symptom. Sometimes, my left hand is numb after lying in bed awhile-- My feet go numb sitting or standing.. I usually can shake it off or massage it until feeling comes back. I think as time goes on, we become a little more desensitized to all of the quirks that come and go... it becomes the new normal. But certainly keep a journal and any symptoms that stick around more than 24 hrs need to be reported to your Neuro asap.

I personally have never had that happen but my father who was dx'd about 15 years ago has this same issue. I remember as a child him shaking his hand like that quite a bit. He rarely does it now as he has not had a flare up in quite some time.

Cesar, I see you are a new member here, so I'm going to cut you some slack. Every so often we get a predator here on DS. You know, the kind that is on here puerly to pick up women. Members here communicate through DS and maybe, once they know a person very well, they will PRIVATELY exchange email addresses.

This is not a singles, dating site. The quickest way to scare people here is to publicly post your email address and talk about phone calls and texting. Not a good idea. Over time, once others get to know you and who you are, I'm sure you'll discover lots of friends here.

I'm sure that some guys that join here might think this is a great place to meet women and that's just wrong. I know that relationships can and do develop here. The thing is that those things just kinda, sorta happen as some get to know more about one another over time. I guess since that one character we had here, I've become a bit more leary about what people say.

Yes it happens to my hands and feet.if you never had this before, well normally you have to relax it will stop if you know your body. Ok you have your hands tingleing ,when it stops try to figure out what caused your hands to tingle? Ok maybe your body has to cool hot and cold try and keep your body tempeture to hot no good. Temperature to cold brings tinglingback. Like me I love hot water but if I take a hot shower Im gonna feel tingling I turn on the a/c and in five minutes don't feel the tinglying goes away.it sounds weird that's why I tell this will help you. Just figure all the lil thing try and find out what happen to you and your body...if you keep your hand not laying on your they gonna fall asleep.what ever happens to you well the tinglings stop try find out wht u do to make the tinngling stop. After the tinngling go away your not gonna get any tinngling any more. Things usually does not happen agin caus you finding answers you just have never ever blame yourself

That is what brought me to the neuro. My left arm and left hand goes numb/tingling. Now it comes and goes. My right side does the same. I have learn to deal with the numbness. One the plus side; I can not feel it with I burn myself in the kitchen while cooking or get a paper cut. lol. Every one is different. You never know what to except.
